This is my bedroom. Yeah, I know, it's kinda tidy. Shut up. (Yeah, mum, I know, the mirrors could use some cleaning up. Sure.)

I promised piccies of my place so here they are! I couldn't be bothered getting a proper panoramic view so please ignore the white borders...

My life is saved.

I hadn't been lied to: Tim Tams do exist in this land! You just have to know where to find them. Thank God for Tesco!

GO THE GOONERS!!!

Arsenal wins the FA CUP!!! Woo-hoo! First team ever to win it on penalties.

Geez, that was intense. The first obstacle was to find a pub not packed to the roof from where we watch the game (as in, glimpse a corner of a faraway TV screen, in between heads...). The problem with living in Islington/Highbury is that when Arsenal is playing, every freakin' pub is full of fans! It's bad in terms of breathable space but damn, it's good in terms of atmosphere. We lived through every one of these penalties as one man, I tell ya.

After the game, the whole neighbourhood obviously went nuts, with cars full of flags and supporters honking past seas of people dressed in red shirts, spilling out of the pubs. The sun even came out for the end of the game, it made for a very nice late afternoon! (Wannat bet it was raining in Manchester? MuhaHAHAHAHAAH!!!!)

To be honest, we were bloody lucky on that game. We dominated the first half, I'd say, but Man Utd came out of the gates flying after th break. We had absolutely no penetration up front, with Titi on the bench. The stats kinda tell the story, I think we had 2 corners to Manchester's 15. Oh well. Who cares. WE WON!

Tophe.

A point of view from the Dark Side...

Darth Vader has a blog! This interesting ditty was pointed out by my mate Chris, who should stop surfing the web and do some work :-)

London Bridge, a cloudy afternoon last week.
